Hello, everybody. My name is Ira and I'm from Kirov. Now I live in Moscow and study at HSE. I finished my school named KELL in June 2012. I came in Moscow 2 weeks ago, now I really miss my city, parents and friends, in spite of a lot of my friends and classmates study in Moscow. Many of my schoolmates live in a dormitory in Odintsovo. There are 4 people in my room: Julia, Dasha, Nastya and me. We are all from KELL. Living with many people is new and unusual for me, but it is very interesting.Many of my friends have stayed in Kirov, because they will have finished school by June 2013. I miss them all and I really hope that they will study in Moscow, because I can't imagine living without them very much.
I really like music and reading. From time to time I read english books, I've already read "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" and "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets". In spite of reading books on this language, I suppose my English level is not high enought. So I hope that English lessons in HSE and NES will help me to improve my language knowledge.

When I was a freshman in college, my roommate was a football (American football) player from Texas who didn't really study very much. We didn't really have much in common and hardly ever talked. Luckily, for the other three years of college, I had a roomamte I knew like you do. A friend of mine from high school was my roommate for those years. Also like you, I had some friends who were a year younger, so a lot of my friends were sitll in high school when I started college!
