7. L. O. V. E.

What is love personally for you? What do you thing the word 'love' means? Maybe, you have some thoughts about love you want to share.
Over futile odds,
And laughed at by the Gods
And now the final frame
Love is a losing game
Amy Winehouse

Now, L-O-V-E's just another word I never learned to pronounce
3OH!3
What is love? I think it is a belief that people imagined. It is not real, but some people believe in it.
We can say what is kindness, bravery, laziness and so on. Everybody can determinate this things practically similar, but love every one determinate in very different ways. Someone can say that this feeling comes and goes out; someone can say that if you feel love that is forever, I just think that love is only a baseless belief, what people call love is only a habit to be together.
There are so many songs about love, so many films, novels and poems about it, but it isn’t in real life. “Romeo and Juliet” is a fiction, yes, it’s really beautiful story, but it’s a fiction.
Do you believe in love? Do you believe in pure, innocent love? If you think about it sometime, I think you say no, because there is not love in our hard and cruel world.

6. Free choice. Postcrossing

Not so long time ago my friend told me about postcrossing, it's a process, when you send a postcard to a random person and receive back from a random person too. No limits. You can write on a postcard what ever you want. You can paint. You can tell the story.
For sending and receiving cards you must log in on this site http://www.postcrossing.com. Users often write what postcards they want to receive, for example, "I really like black and white postcards" or they can ask you to write something, for example date or phrase in your native language. Some users like to receive postcards in envelops, others want to receive a photo instead of postcard  and so on. Everybody has different preferences.
Not so long time ago I decide to try to send a postcard (to USA). This is it (on the left side). It's the work of one of the greatest artist, Edgar Degas.
In reply I received black-and-white postcard, which I really like. It's from Smolensk, Russia. The sender write on the postcard about his city.
So, I think postcrossing is a really interesting process. You can find out a lot things about the world, you can receive a postcard from any part of the Earth.

5. The meaning of our life. Anna's topic.

What is the meaning of our life? What seems for you to be the most important thing you should achieve until the death? Explain why. To tell the truth, these philosophical questions often come to my mind, and it will be interesting for me to read your points of view.
What is the meaning of our life? What is the meaning of my life? I think everybody at least one time had thoughts about it, but noone know absolutely right answer on this question.
To be honest I don’t know the answer. But I’m absolutely sure that it’s not family, not love. Maybe career, maybe not. But it’s not love, because there is no love in our world. I don’t trust in love. It’s fake. Career is more real aim, more touchable thing.
I thing the most important thing I should achieve until the death is to die happy. If you are happy before the death, other things will be insignificant for you, how much money you earned, where you are now, with who you are now. Everything will be unimportant, because you are happy at this moment.
Kurt Kobain, Amy Winehouse, Heath Ledger were younger when they dead. I think I should die younger, before the moment when I’ll be 50 years old. I don’t want to be old, to have more desease before death. I think the best death is to die in car crash or in something like it, because you won’t know that it is the last seconds in your life.

4. Comin' Thro' the Rye

We're reading at english course, in my opinion, one of the best books in the whole world. It is called "The Catcher in the Rye" written by J. D. Salinger. I really like this book, I've read it two times in Russian and now I read it in English.
I read "The catcher in the Rye" in frirst time in the period of my life, when I was denying the whole world, maybe because of this factor I liked this book at that moment. Holden's feelings in this book was like mine in that period.
I am really happy that we talk about this book at English lessons. I think it can helps me to understand this book better.
I don't know books, films or something else which seem to be similar to it, but in many songs, in many books we can find a mention about this book. For example, Holden is mentioned in Green Day's, the Offspring's, Splean's songs. Many famous people really like this book.
I don't know about what I can write in this blog post. I only want to say that for me "The catcher in the Rye" is the best book in the world.

2. When I visited my school last time

I really like the school, which I finished last year. I know that many people visit their school very rarely, for example one time in several years, but I, when I have free time in my native city, go to my school for chatting with teachers and eating in its canteen. Also I meet people, with who I don’t communicate closely, but we can talk about something when we see each other.
During my New Year holidays I was in my school three times, but I want to write only about my first visiting.
I come with friend, but they were from another class, so they go to their form-master, but I go to teachers, who I want to see.
The first teacher, who I visited when I was in KELL (my school), was my economics teacher. She has given me a lot for my future life. Through her I could enter the university, in which I study now.
The second teacher was my form-master. Now she has another class with children about 11-12 years old. I really miss her, I think she was quite good form-master.
I also meet other people, teachers and my ex-schoolmates, but I hadn’t enough time to have a long conversation with them, so I visited my school two times after this day.

1. My favorite novel

One time a have many free time (about 2 hours), because I had to wait something or someone, but I didn’t know what I can do and one my friend gave me a book, which were returned to her that day. She said, “You can read it in your free time, because I don’t need it right now. You can return it later”.

I am really happy now for taking and reading this book. It is really amazing. This book is “Hunting and Gathering” written by French novelist Anna Gavalda. I could find in this book something unusual, it is a story about people, who don’t have in their life anything they can live for, but they have found one another and their lives made senses.

After reading this book I have read all books written by this author, “I Wish Someone Were Waiting for Me Somewhere”, “95 Pounds of Hope”, “Someone I Loved”, “Consolation” and “Breaking Away/French Leave”. This books is really amazing, but from this list I really love “95 Pounds of Hope”, the story about little boy, who has many problems with parents and studying at school, I bought  this book after reading and reread it many times.
